Moving Day

 

1. Be on hand or have someone there authorized to answer questions.
    

2. Accompany the movers crew while they inventory your goods.
    

3. Sign and save your copy of the Inventory/Packing list and make sure delivery address and place to contact you at destination is given to the crew supervisor of the moving company.
    

4. Before you leave the house, check each room, garden, garage, closets, make sure windows are locked, lights and taps are turned off.
    

5. Let the professional movers take over and pack all your household goods for shipment. Make sure that you or your spouse is on hand to supervise the packing making sure nothing is left behind and to receive your copies of the shipping documents.
